How long from first call to final film?+
About four weeks, give or take. The long conversation and the question map come first, the shoot is usually a single half-day, and you'll see a first cut within ten days of filming. Two rounds of notes are built into that window — the rush add-on tightens it if a deadline won't move.
Do I need a script, or to memorize anything?+
No. We draft a question map from our first conversation, not lines for you to recite. On the day we ask, you talk, and we listen for the moment you stop performing and start telling the truth. The film is built around what you actually said.
What does “two rounds of notes” really cover?+
Two full passes of changes after the first cut — pacing, music, the order of beats, a line that should go. It's enough for nearly every film to land where you want it. If you need a third pass, it's the $385 extra revision add-on, quoted up front, never sprung on you afterward.
We're small and not raising yet — is this for us?+
Yes. The Origin Cut and Founder Profile exist for exactly that — an about page, a hiring push, a launch. You don't need a deck or a round to have a story worth telling well. We'll point you to the film that fits your moment, not the most expensive one.
Where do you film?+
Most shoots happen in and around Saint Petersburg, FL, either at our studio at 90112TH ST S or on your own location — a workshop, an office, the place the story actually lives. Travel beyond the Tampa Bay area is quotable; just tell us where on the first call.
How does billing work?+
We bill per produced film — one number for the finished thing, not a day rate. A deposit books the shoot date, the balance is due on delivery of the master, and we accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and bank transfer. There's no cart here; you talk to us, we quote, then invoice.
